Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. While Ago Actum Ltd, as a smaller business, may fall below the Act’s mandatory turnover threshold, we choose to publish this statement to be transparent about the steps we take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains. It relates to the financial year1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Our business

Ago Actum Ltd is a UK limited company based in Cambridge,  United Kingdom. We provide data and artificial-intelligence consultancy and software to companies, organisations and governments, helping them use AI on their own data securely and privately. Our operations are UK-based and our workforce is engaged directly by us.

Our supply chains

Our supply chains are relatively short and predominantly consist of:

• cloud infrastructure and software providers;
• professional services (legal, accounting and similar);
• independent specialist contractors; and
• office, equipment and IT suppliers.

We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low, given the nature of our work and our UK base. We recognise that risk can exist deeper within global technology and hardware supply chains, and we take reasonable steps to work with reputable suppliers.

Our policies

We operate policies that underpin our commitment to acting ethically, including in relation to recruitment, whistleblowing and supplier conduct. These make clear the standards of behaviour we expect of our people and our partners, and provide safe routes to raise concerns.

Due diligence and steps taken

To identify and mitigate risk, we:

• favour established, reputable suppliers and review new suppliers before engagement;
• expect our suppliers and contractors to comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015;
• pay our people and contractors fairly and lawfully, and verify the right to work of those we engage;
• maintain channels through which staff and contractors can raise concerns without fear of reprisal; and
• keep our approach under review as our business grows.

Training and awareness

We raise awareness of modern slavery risks among our team so that our people understand the signs and know how to escalate any concern. As we grow, we will formalise this training further.

Assessing effectiveness

Given the scale of our operations, we assess effectiveness principally through the absence of reported incidents, the standards of our chosen suppliers, and periodic review of our policies and practices. We will develop more formal indicators as the business expands.

Approval

This statement has been approved by the board of directors of  Ago Actum Ltd and will be reviewed and updated annually. It was approved on 1 August 2026.
